Acrylic roof coatings are liquid-applied, monolithic, (seamless), and fully adhered to the roof’s substrate. The polymers in the acrylic are formulated to be tough, hard, and flexible. Therefore, they’re great for almost any type of roofing system. Applied just like house paint with a brush, squeegee, spray, or roller, acrylic coatings are single-component substances. In other words, they don’t require two-component mixing.
